Angelique Kania, Church School Superintendent
Angelique Kania loves working with children and youth! She has always enjoyed volunteering in her children’s classrooms, being a Cub Scout leader, teaching Sunday School, being a mentor for Confirmation students, organizing Pilgrim Church’s Christmas Pageant, and being involved wherever children are involved. Now, after a 13-year hiatus from working as a teacher, during which she devoted time and energy to raising her three boys, she has gone back into education and currently works at Chandler School as a Math Tutor. She is thrilled to take on the role of Church School Superintendent and work with the Pilgrim Church community to make Sunday School engaging and meaningful for all.
Angelique has an undergraduate degree from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in French and Economics and a Master’s degree from Bank Street College of Education in New York City. Angelique taught in Brooklyn and New York City public schools for four years, mostly teaching 7th grade history and 9th & 10th grade French in East Harlem. She now lives in Duxbury with Rob, her beloved husband of twenty years and her three amazing boys – Alex, Nicholas and Gregory.
